With the Driver Identification Display, Continental is presenting another innovation at CES 2023. The display solution takes driver monitoring to a new level by enabling contactless, secure driver authentication. This is ensured by the camera seamlessly integrated into the display and a software algorithm developed by trinamiX.
Thanks to the innovative, secure and fast biometric facial recognition, reliable driver authentication and thus applications such as mobile payment are possible without additional sensors, for example for fingerprints. The Driver Identification Display won the CES Innovation Award in the category "Vehicle Tech & Advanced Mobility".
