Since joining the company in 2018, I have been contributing to the next generation of 360-degree environment monitoring with expertise in low-level fusion, 3D object detection, model KPI definition, logging and visualization. My aim is to deliver robust and scalable AI solutions with sensor fusion.
I am motivated by the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, which is why I am particularly drawn to Artificial Intelligence. At Continental, I can engage with innovative projects that resemble the start-up culture, while also benefiting from the infrastructure of an established international tech company.
As a Senior Deep Learning engineer, my main focus is to work with my team to develop a deep learning model for environment perception that is robust and reliable. This model plays a crucial role in enhancing the safety of autonomous systems while ensuring user trust in our technology.
The positive impacts of AI in the automotive industry are already reflected in today’s ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). As this technology becomes more accessible, these active safety features are increasingly integrated into everyday vehicles, significantly improving road safety for all users. Looking to the future, AI has the potential to enable swift and effective responses to uncommon scenarios that traditional ADAS and average drivers may struggle to manage, thus providing more reliable driving experiences.
Our AI Development Center has experienced significant growth over the past years. As our research and development teams gain more senior expertise, I believe we will emerge as a leading force in AI product development at Continental. This trajectory positions us well to play a vital role in shaping innovative AI solutions in the future.
