Approximately 1/3 of an agricultural vehicle operating hours are performed “on road” and as such, these vehicle drivers are faced with numerous vulnerable road users (people, bicycles, cars and motorcycles).
This topic is exacerbated with ever increasing machine sizes as well as increasing width and length of the vehicles. Often, these machines have large dead angles, not to speak about their slow speed which is felt to be irritating by many road users.
The consequences are severe “left turn accidents” creating damage to vehicles and harm to people.
We provide a left-turn assist that warns the tractor driver of vehicles coming from the rear at speed but also of vulnerable road users in the dead angle.
The driver is warned by a buzzer and a warning light as soon as the radar detects something. In this way, there is no need for an additional display in the cabin.
