Electric Vehicle Control Unit and 48VBattery Management System for Electric Two-Wheelers

eMobility for Two- Wheelers

Because we believe in the environment, we introduce our solutions for electric two-wheelers: the electric vehicle control unit (eVCU) ensures a smooth, efficient, and safe driving experience. Our 48V Battery Management System (BMS) enables optimal performance and safe operation.

Control and coordination for e-bike subsystems

For users of e-bikes and scooters, a smooth, efficient and safe driving experience depends on a good coordination of all vehicle subsystems. Our Electronic Vehicle Control Unit for E-Vehicles provides functions like torque coordination, system state control, load management, on-board charging operation and even drive mode strategies based on driver inputs. It operates at 12V and acts as a CAN gateway between 12V and 48V systems and supports vehicle diagnostics.

That way, it enables an efficient power management, enhanced safety and stability, the seamless integration of functions as well as real-time monitoring and diagnostics.

Optimal performance and safe operation for e-bikes and other applications

Optimal performance and safe operations – that is what riders of e-bikes, e-scooters and other electric vehicles expect from their batteries. The 48V Battery Management System (BMS) was developed specifically for these applications according to state-of-the-art automotive standards including functional safety and cybersecurity. It continuously monitors and controls parameters like voltage, current and temperature of up to 16 battery cells in electric two-wheelers, L7E vehicles, 48V stationary storage solutions as well as off-highway applications. The application software supports sophisticated BMS features such as diagnostics, state of health (SoH) and thermal management. It is furthermore capable of monitoring the isolation resistance for both the battery pack as well as the vehicle system.
