Continental at LogiMAT 2023 with intralogistics solutions

Continental optimizes intralogistics with robots and digital solutions

Continental will present autonomous robots and solutions for industrial trucks at LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management.

LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, will set new standards from April 25 to 27, 2023 in Stuttgart, Germany. Continental will also be exhibiting at the largest annual intralogistics trade fair in Europe. Under the slogan “Empowering Intralogistics” we will showcase pioneering solutions from the fields of Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and digital solutions for industrial trucks in Hall 6 (Booth 6B29).

Surround view for the industrial truck: ProViu 360 camera system

ProViu360_Forklift_749x424.png

Anyone who regularly moves an industrial truck through warehouses knows that it quickly becomes confusing here between machines, racks and stacks of materials. Add to that the constant traffic, blind spots and colleagues on foot. The ProViu 360 digital surround view system offers the driver a better overview and thus safety in daily logistics traffic. Images captured by four cameras with HDR (High Dynamic Range) and a resolution of 1.3 megapixels with a radius of up to 194 degrees are joined together with the help of a complex algorithm in the control unit to produce a perfect bird's eye surround view of the vehicle. A new feature is Worker Detection, which is based on the City Emergency Brake Assist for passenger cars and has been specially developed for conditions in confined working environments such as production or warehouses. This makes it possible to detect people in the immediate vicinity of the industrial truck and prevent collisions.

Even more light per watt: NightViu premium work lights

The NightViu work lights for industrial trucks also improve the overview of the working environment. With homogeneous automotive-quality illumination, they ensure better visibility in the work area and thus greater safety and efficiency even in the dark. At approximately 100 lumens per watt, the LED lights used have an increased luminous efficacy compared to other LED lights, protecting sensitive vehicle electronics and preventing short circuits caused by excessive power consumption. Luminous flux options range from 1500 to 2500 and 3500 lumens, and – new – also 4500 lumens for particularly dark working environments. For easy installation, the portfolio has also been expanded to include a special dealer offer that combines all the necessary components such as LED lights, housing brackets and cables in a complete package.
