Our core competence is the holistic approach within the chain of effects: SensePlanAct. All low-speed maneuvering solutions have one pre-requisite in common: they need a Motion Control in the vehicle. The Motion Control is a key component and enabler for highly automated and autonomous driving. It comprises software embedded within an ECU and is a plug-and-play solution. A centralized Motion Control transforms the driving plan into lateral and longitudinal actuator commands. In the future also vertical motion as well as additional functions will be possible.
It thereby takes an important role as a component between the Plan and Act tasks. As a result, the vehicle is kept on the set path and thus increases driving safety.
