The secondary display is a key element of a well-structured center console inside the vehicle. It is used for a clear demonstration of a wide range of information.
Radio and audio systems, board computers, navigation systems etc. use the secondary display as visualization medium, as do mobile phones, the internet and rearview cameras. Data from driver assistance systems such as ContiGuard, for instance – can also be presented on the screen of the center console.
Our secondary displays are equipped with a color screen that ensures outstanding readability at all light conditions. They are available in various sizes and resolutions. The displays can be operated via a touch screen and can additionally be combined with a proximity sensor. They can also be set up to provide haptic feedback, i.e. by conveying the sensation of pressing a button to the driver.
Vehicle manufacturers profit from the standardized structure of our secondary displays. They can be customized for installation into various vehicle lines and configured for access by the most diverse multimedia components.
