Automated Parking – Trained Parking
Utilizing Surround View camera images and an optional fusion with other sensors, the car automatically maneuvers to the final parking position. The driver supervises the maneuver from outside via remote control (SAE L2). Before driving automatically the first time, the user has to drive the path one time manually. Characteristic features (landmarks) are selected to train the driving path. For the automated maneuver, path planning and following is done based on these landmarks.
