Side-Slip Angle Control Logic (SCL)
A slow veering in vehicle is hard to detect for a regular stability system vehicle reference model like a single track model. Slow veering in vehicle reactions mainly occur in scenarios like constant speed curve driving on low friction coefficient surfaces, load alteration situations or brake maneuvers. Normal drivers may be surprised and major instabilities can happen by non or faulty reactions. A side-slip angle control logic combined with an early and sensitive intervention strategy is able to prevent critical situations.
