Adaptive Cruise Control
The ACC system behaves as a conventional cruise control system in an open lane condition. When approaching a slower vehicle in subject vehicle path, the ACC system uses the Powertrain and the Electronic Brake System to adjust the subject vehicle speed in order to maintain the driver selected headway. Generation 4 includes: ACC Stop&Go, Reaction on a priori static objects, Auto Go (driver confirmation is no longer required within a defined maximum time interval for drive off from standstill), External Speed Assist Input.
